Sanjay is an ambitious and focused Bihari student-politician in Delhi. He represents the romantic and the idealist who steadfastly pursues his political goals. On the other hand, Apurv’s life is directionless. With the abundance of time and money in hand, he searches for meaning
in life through amorous escapades with various girls.

The three female leads that of a prostitute, a schoolgirl and a rich model, provide a myriad of social and emotional backdrops to the film. Vaisali (Smriti Mishra) plays an attractive but sharp-tongued prostitute. She claims never to get emotionally attached to her customers. Then there is the vibrant and flirtatious schoolgirl Kintu (Ishitta Sharrma), who coquettishly remains noncommittal and always plays hard to get. Prerna (Nikita Anand) is the rich South Delhi babe who aspires to become an international model, and yet finds herself attracted to the earthy and charismatic student-politician, Sanjay.

Dil Dosti Etc uses a rich ensemble of characters, stories and themes to explore the very nature of friendship, male bonding, voyeurism, sexual perversion, love and betrayal. The film, based on an original screenplay, is full with realism and black humour and shows the coming of age of not only a young man but also explores the ambiguities and pre-occupations of an entire generation.

Dil Dosti Etc has mainly been shot in real locations in Delhi. Through the corridors of a Delhi University college hostel, the buzzing college canteen, idol school bus chatter, the streets of Delhi, ruins of an old fort, the gallis of purani Dilli, the colours of a GB road kotha, south Delhi cafes and malls, sprawling Mehrauli farmhouses and Karol Bagh residential colonies, Delhi comes to life in its myriad hues and sounds.

As for the music, it ranges from a raw song with drunk hostellers out for a night-out, to an upbeat party number, a Punjabi night-club track, a refreshing song about the youth to a thumri... there is great variety and freshness.

Badki and Chutki live a fun-filled life in Banaras, playing pranks, sneaking off to see a forbidden mujra, and soaking up all the excitement that goes on the ghats of the Ganga.
Badki is aware that the family is in dire straits, but she and her mother protect Chutki at all costs. When things get worse, Badki decides to go to Mumbai and seek a living for the family. Alone and unsupported in the midst of the urban jungle of Mumbai, Badki battles with dark forces, keeping her focus on her purpose to support her family and continue Chutki’s education. She deliberately morphs into someone else, leading a secret life full of murky compromises. When Chutki comes to Mumbai to work, things take a dramatic turn. Badki’s life turns into a minefield, as she has to hide her secrets from Chutki. Chutki finds success at work, and love that delights her heart. Badki finds the magic of love, but lets it slip away before it can blossom, as she believes it’s not in her destiny. She battles menace and blackmail alone, not letting these dark shadows fall on Chutki or her family. But her dual life is revealed, and the two sisters are face to face, in a confrontation neither had expected. And when love beckons Badki again, the whole family is thrown in a tumultuous storm. Everything threatens to explode in their faces, destroying all of them. Will Badki get the happy ending she deserves? Or will the shadows of her past douse the lamps of hope? Will her secrets ruin Chutki’s happiness? Can their parents face up to all this?

DHOL is a hilarious tale of four boys PAKYA (Sharman Joshi), SAM (Tushar Kapoor), GOTI (Kunal Khemu) & MARU (Rajpal Yadav) who want to make it big in life with the least possible effort. They have been doing all sorts of jobs with hardly any money. They decide that the only way to get rich (without working too hard) is to marry a rich girl. The four cannot believe their luck when Ritu (Tanushree Dutta) shifts into their neighborhood.
All four of them try various methods to get close to the girl including impressing her grandparents but somehow nothing goes right. But the boys are persistent and end up discovering a spine chilling truth.
